TAILOR-MADE WILDLIFE EXPERIENCES IN BRAZIL

UNTOUCHED COAST - Brazil pristine mangroves and beach
Incredible experiences in the most pristine rainforest coast
Ilha do Cardoso hosts one of the largest mangrove ecosystems on the planet, a true sanctuary of life and culture. This biodiversity hotspot offers unique landscapes where nature and history meet, preserved in the traditions and architecture of caiçara communities, including churches and colonial buildings dating back to Brazil’s discovery period.
Among the island’s most iconic species is the Red-tailed Amazon parrot (Amazona brasiliensis), endemic to the region and a symbol of this coastal ecosystem’s uniqueness. Its presence is a highlight for birdwatchers and nature photographers. The tour can also be extended in search of another Brazilian treasure: the Black-faced Lion Tamarin (Leontopithecus caissara), a critically endangered primate found only in very restricted areas.
The island’s scenery combines pristine beaches, lush mangroves, and scenic trails, offering breathtaking encounters with flora and fauna at every turn. Every hike or boat ride presents unique opportunities to connect with rare species and witness unforgettable landscapes.
